With Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Legacy of the Forge DLC now in the books, there remains one expansion yet to launch for the medieval RPG: Mysteria Ecclesiae. Currently, apart from its premise, very little is known about the third and final DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, including its release date. Warhorse has disclosed that Mysteria Ecclesiae will launch sometime this winter, but not only is that window rather vague, it also might not be entirely accurate, if history has proven anything.
While Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has only had two major DLC launches during its lifetime, it has already established a pattern that might help narrow down the exact release date for Mysteria Ecclesiae. Taking into account when Brushes With Death and Legacy of the Forge were actually released in comparison to their original targets, as well as when Mysteria Ecclesiae is currently slated to launch, it’s possible to predict down to the day when Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s third DLC might be released, and if that date isn’t correct, it’s likely to at least be within a week of the expansion’s actual launch.
When Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Third DLC Could Launch
The best method for narrowing down the release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Mysteria Ecclesia DLC is to analyze how the game has handled its expansion launches up to this point. Brushes With Death, for example, was originally scheduled for a Summer 2025 launch but ended up arriving quite a bit earlier. The first day of this year’s summer was actually June 21, 2025, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Brushes With Death DLC was released on May 15 — over a month prior to summer’s official first day.
Legacy of the Forge experienced a similar story, as it was initially slated for a Fall 2025 launch but launched earlier as well. Fall officially began on September 22, 2025, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Legacy of the Forge DLC was released on September 9, 2025 — almost two weeks before fall even began. Something else to note is that Brushes With Death launched on a Thursday, while Legacy of the Forge, on a Tuesday. Looking at these patterns, it seems likely that Mysteria Ecclesiae will also arrive a bit sooner than anticipated, and it will presumably be on either a Tuesday or a Thursday.
Mysteria Ecclesiae's Potential Release Date
With Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s final DLC currently targeting a Winter 2025 launch, that would see it launching sometime after December 21, 2025, the first day of winter. However, if the release history for the game’s previous DLCs is any indication, Mysteria Ecclesiae could actually be arriving at least a few weeks sooner than that. It’s also worth mentioning that, not only is December 21, 2025 putting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s third DLC launch dangerously close to the end of the year, but the Christmas holiday could also work against it, as fans would potentially be too busy or distracted to play it.
All things considered, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Mysteria Ecclesia DLC seems likely to launch on December 2, 2025, for a few reasons. Firstly, that release date, a Tuesday, would put it after the chaos of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, but it would also put a few weeks between it and Christmas, giving players plenty of time to experience it before the holiday chaos sets in once again. Secondly, launching on December 2, 2025 would align with the pattern already established by the game’s previous DLCs, each of which launched around 2–4 weeks earlier than their original targets.
If Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s next DLC doesn’t launch on December 2, 2025, it would likely be December 4 instead. Even launching a week later might not give fans enough time to settle in with it, so that first week of December actually seems like the best fit for it. Of course, Warhorse could still surprise everyone and launch it even earlier, but that seems unlikely.
