Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after the EFL tweeted a highlights montage of Tyler Roberts’ best bits.
The 21-year-old has scored three Championship goals this season, having netted the same amount in the 2018/19 campaign as well as grabbing six assists following his move from West Brom.
Roberts – despite his young age – already has six caps for Wales and appears to be a real gem, although his injury problems are a worry.
The youngster said that he has been focusing on getting his body prepared for the Championship’s rigorousness nature, with him under the impression that his head is in the right place – his mindset and his fitness seem to be on different wavelengths as things stand.
Injuries have restricted him to just four Championship starts this season, but as you can see in the EFL’s montage, he clearly has bundles of ability – it would be criminal to see them go to waste because of his injury problems.
If you weren’t already aware of just how highly-rated the Gloucester-born forward was by the Elland Road faithful, take a look at what the Leeds supporters on Twitter have been saying about him…
To kick off the reaction, one fan likened Roberts to ex-Leeds star Harry Kewell, a man who scored 54 goals for the club in 219 appearances – high praise indeed.
Another fan named Oli even went as far as saying that the Welshman is one of Marcelo Bielsa’s most crucial players – for a 21-year-old to receive such high praise, he must have something about him.
Elsewhere, the superlatives for Roberts continued as one fan named Josh called him the “Welsh Ronaldo”.

Another said that he’s Bielsa’s best attacking option, which is pretty lofty praise as the Argentine has the likes of Patrick Bamford, Pablo Hernandez, Jean-Kevin Augustin and Helder Costa at his disposal.
In other news, Liam Cooper has sent a request to the Elland Road faithful on Twitter, and Billy Sharp replied…
